Dr. Cotes was raised in New Hampshire and received her Bachelor of Arts at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, before completing her medical training at Dartmouth Medical School. After receipt of her medical degree she completed an internship in General Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center before moving to Atlanta to pursue her Dermatology training at Emory University. Following her residency, Dr. Cotes continued her surgical training at Emory as a Fellow in Procedural Dermatology.
She joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia in 2015. Her clinical interests include Mohs surgery and all aspects of cutaneous oncology. In addition to her surgical practice, Dr. Cotes is also experienced in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, including the use of fillers and neuromodulators. Dr. Cotes is passionate about working with her surgical and cosmetic patients to achieve natural and harmonious aesthetic results. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a member of AAD, ASDS, and AADDS. She is adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Emory University and regularly mentors and trains residents and Fellows in her surgical clinic.
When she is not with her patients, Dr. Cotes enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs. She is always on the lookout for a great book recommendation, and enjoys cooking, knitting, playing piano, and messy art projects with her children.
