She joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia in 2015. Her clinical interests include Mohs surgery and all aspects of cutaneous oncology. In addition to her surgical practice, Dr. Cotes is also experienced in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, including the use of fillers and neuromodulators. Dr. Cotes is passionate about working with her surgical and cosmetic patients to achieve natural and harmonious aesthetic results. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a member of AAD, ASDS, and AADDS. She is adjunct Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Emory University and regularly mentors and trains residents and Fellows in her surgical clinic.
When she is not with her patients, Dr. Cotes enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs. She is always on the lookout for a great book recommendation, and enjoys cooking, knitting, playing piano, and messy art projects with her children.

Dr. Rice was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. Returning to Seattle, she attended the University Of Washington School Of Medicine, graduating at the top of her class with election to Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Rice’s pediatric training was at Seattle Children’s Hospital and her dermatology training was at the Emory University School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology. She served as chief resident in her senior year of both respective residency programs. Dr. Rice is triple boarded in dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and pediatrics.
Dr. Rice has over a decade of clinical trial experience, serving as a principal or co-investigator in over 30 clinical trials. She has several peer-reviewed publications in the top dermatology journals, including the Journal of American Medical Association of Dermatology, Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery Journal. She has contributed to CNN and Fox News medical segments, Allure magazine, Insider, and Web MD.
Dr. Rice remains active in the Emory Dermatology Department currently as an Adjunct Clinical Professor, contributing to the education of over 100 residents.
Of note, Dr. Rice is a devoted wife to Captain William S. Rice (together 25 years and counting) and proud mother of two amazing daughters, Windland and Willow. As a family, they enjoy reading, dancing, swimming, and traveling the world.
