Helen H. BennettM.Ed., M.S.P.H., M.M.Sc., PA-C
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Helen went on to earn Masters degrees in Counseling at the University of Virginia and in Public Health at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill before finding her niche as a Physician Assistant. She started in Dermatology in 2000 after completing her Physician Assistant Masters program at Emory University. She currently serves as an adjunct professor for the Emory University Physician Assistant program. She joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia, L.L.C. in January 2005. She has two young sons, Grayson and Candler. Ms. Bennett is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Rhea DouglasM.S., M.M.Sc., PA-C
Rhea graduated in 2000 from the University of Virginia with her B.A. in Biology. After working in the pharmaceutical industry, she moved to Atlanta and earned her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. She decided to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant after working as a mental health counselor in order to broaden her medical knowledge and training. In 2008, she graduated with honors from Emory University’s Physician Assistant Program and earned her Masters degree in Medical Science. Upon graduation, she joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia, LLC. Rhea lives in Atlanta with her husband, two children, and their family dog. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Randal P. AntleMMSc, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant Randal P. Antle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University in 2001. She worked for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Hospital before pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant. In 2008, she graduated with honors from Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program and earned her Masters degree in Medical Science. Randal has been specializing in dermatology since 2009 and her clinical interests include skin cancer prevention and treatment, and the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of general dermatological diseases. Randal lives in Atlanta with her husband, and her three children. She is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants, the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Anna WeirM.S.N., FNP-C
Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer University in 2005. For the following ten years she worked as a critical care registered nurse in metro Atlanta and overseas in New Zealand. In 2015, Anna received her Master’s degree and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner after graduating with honors from Mercer University’s Nurse Practitioner Program. Prior to joining Dermatology Associates of Georgia, LLC in 2018, Anna lived in Florida practicing Internal Medicine and Cosmetic Dermatology. She sees patients at the Decatur (Clairmont Road) and Monroe clinic locations.
Anna lives in Decatur and enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with her husband and their Portuguese Water Dog, Penny. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Amanda Sanders PA-C
Amanda is a certified Physician Assistant and a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from South Carolina State University and then attended Medical College of Georgia where she received her certification in Nuclear Medicine. Amanda worked at Grady Hospital as a nuclear medicine technician for two years before moving to Virginia. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Masters of Physician Assistant Program.
After graduation, Amanda returned home and started her career in Dermatology in 2010. She joined Dermatology Associates of Georgia, L.L.C in March 2019 with over eight years of experience in dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant organization.
Amanda currently resides in Dunwoody with her son and husband. She enjoys staying active in her community, reading and outdoor activities.
Laura BeachamM.M.Sc, PA-C
Laura is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Xavier University in 2009. Prior to moving to Atlanta to attend graduate school, she worked in an emergency department and taught high school Chemistry. Laura completed the top ranked Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in 2015, earning her Masters degree in Medical Science. Before joining Dermatology Associates of Georgia in 2016, she worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Laura sees patients at the Johns Creek and Decatur clinic locations.
Laura lives in Garden Hills and enjoys family activities with her husband, son, and golden retriever. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants.
